Here is a Tri-Ped Microcar restored by Taykoff (https://www.instagram.com/_taykoff/) of Saftey Second Moped Club. These vehicles are awesome. They are one of the largest mopeds made. There are other Tri-ped designs that look like a traditional tricycle. Stuart Pivar invented the Microcar to be the modern car for urban environments. Its a pipe or tubular frame design like many mopeds. Powered by the Italian two-stroke Minarelli engine.
When Taykoff found the microcar someone had removed the original engine and replaced it with a 4 stroke engine. He made a new engine mount to install a Minarelli V1. Originally designed to reach a top speed of 30 miles per hour on a stock V1 platform. Its new engine has performance upgrades for improved speeds.
