Sizzle in the middle was the first Spicy Boys moped rally of Kansas City. The rally was held on the weekend of October 13 2017. Hickory Union Moto was the host for the moped rally headquarters. Every city we’ve been too seem to always be better on mopeds, Kansas City was no different.
Friday was a night ride through and around the city of Kansas. Group ride left from Hickory Union Moto and ended at Lucky Boys bar and restaurant.
Saturday started out with breakfast ride. Followed by a long afternoon ride through Kansas with a stop at Slick Willy’s. Then it was a long ride and race back to the rally spot at Hickory Union Moto to beat the wild storm. Saturday night party and raffle took place inside Hickory Union Moto, during this time the rain storm was raining havoc on the tents outside.
Taryn of the Brap Queens/Spark Pugs/Puddle Cutters won the Spicy Boys raffle bike.
Walt of Trickmetric and Brett of Hickory Union Moto were having a Batavus build off during the rally. They were building some Batavus mopeds to race each other. Walt built a full custom moped with a custom Batavus engine. While Brett was building a different version of his twin Batavus engine moped.
