I discovered this stunning Peugeot GL10 on Lizzy’s Instagram, where she showcases her exceptional expertise. Notably, Lizzy specializes in custom spoke wheel building, truing, lacing, spoke replacement, flat tire repair, and various other services. Moreover, she highlighted this mini moped, proudly owned by Lee.

The Peugeot GL10 moped boasts an impressive design, which its creators carefully crafted for optimal performance. Initially, its robust engine grabs attention, delivering a remarkable power-to-weight ratio. Additionally, the GL10’s sleek frame and streamlined bodywork contribute to its aerodynamic prowess. Moreover, Peugeot’s engineers skillfully integrated innovative features, such as the automatic variator and centrifugal clutch. Consequently, this moped achieves swift acceleration and smooth shifting.

Appearance

This vintage moped features small 10-inch spoke wheels with black center hubs, setting it apart. Its all-terrain tires tackle various road conditions with ease. Primarily, the moped retains its original stock components. Despite its age, it remains in great shape. While mostly stock, the engine has received performance updates, boosting its capabilities.

The Peugeot GL10 moped showcases a sleek and stylish design, the curved lines of its tank and seat grab attention, creating a streamlined silhouette. Additionally, the chrome accents and polished aluminum components add a touch of elegance. Moreover, the GL10’s iconic Peugeot badge proudly takes center stage, embodying the brand’s rich heritage. Notably, the moped’s vibrant color schemes, such as the classic green and white, evoke a nostalgic charm. Furthermore, the clever integration of ergonomic handlebars and contoured seating ensures a comfortable riding experience.

Engine

The Peugeot variated engine has been upgraded with a powerful Cast Iron Malossi 70cc kit, significantly enhancing its performance. Additionally, the engine cases have been replaced with high-strength Malossi Cases, providing a durable foundation. Inside, an Artek crankshaft drives the engine’s efficiency. Furthermore, the high-performance 21mm Dellorto PHBG carburetor precisely delivers air and fuel through the cases.
The Le Partie CDI, paired with an MVT box, efficiently powers the bike with reliable electrical energy. Next, the Moby kickstart ER3 variator seamlessly transmits engine power to the wheels, leveraging the Polini plus engine spring and stock drive pulley for maximum efficiency. Finally, the high-flow Simonini exhaust system boosts the engine’s overall performance, completing the build with optimized output.
