Vespa Si Vintage Moped

Vespa Si, one of the models of vintage mopeds made in Italy by Piaggio.  Piaggio named their moped and scooter line Vespa.  Vespa translates into wasp. The name was inspired by the sound made from the two stroke engine. The Vespa Si has a variated automatic transmission. The rotary engine is mounted to a swing arm sub-frame. It is one of the only Vespa moped models that is available with a mono shock suspension.

This Vespa Si moped was built by Richy of Rebel Rousers (https://www.instagram.com/richyrouser/). The Monte Carlo version of the Si has some differences.  The main differences being the dual rear shocks instead of the mono shock, and a different fork setup.
