Moped of the day is a custom Tomos Arrow built by Jaxx (https://www.instagram.com/jaxxparrow/) of Richmond’s Rebel Rouser’s moped club. He converted his Tomos Arrow into a mini top tank powered by a Puch E50.
The Arrow is one of the smaller mopeds manufactured by Tomos. It was one of the first mopeds with the Tomos A55 50cc two-stroke engine. Different from most of the models manufactured during that time. Equipped with smaller but wider mag wheels than the other Tomos models. A mono shock rear suspension paired with a single sided swing arm.
Jaxx swapped the Tomos A55 engine with a custom built Puch E50. He cut down the OEM seat mount to fit the aftermarket scrambler style leather seat. A Motormorina or Motobecane Sebring gas tank was mounted nicely to the step-through frame. OEM handlebars replaced with lower clip-on’s adding to the Cafe Racer look.
