The JCPenney Pinto moped is a rare and unique vehicle that was sold by the JCPenney department store chain in the 1970s. JCPenney designed it to be an affordable and efficient mode of transportation, with a price tag of around $200. The Pinto moped was produced by the Puch company in Austria and was marketed towards students, commuters, and other individuals who needed a reliable and easy-to-use vehicle.
One of the most distinctive features of the JCPenney Pinto moped is its design. It’s a sleek and compact body, with a step-through frame. The moped has a small engine and a single-speed transmission, making it easy to operate and maintain.
Mods
E50 single-speed engine. He upgraded the exhaust. Appearance mods: Bullet headlight with speedo and headlight arms. The stock headlight is a shallow bucket with no speedo. Taller ape hanger-style handlebars with new grips and bar end mirrors. He changed the stock seat for a slammed chopper-style seat, and some new chrome rear shocks. Folding pedals are one of my favorite mods to do to any moped. LED taillight under the seat. A chopped rear fender. I love all the polished chrome on the bike. The rear rack delete is the last of the mods I can see.
