Have you seen this Club Style Puch Maxi S? I came across this build on the Puch Facebook group. Admittedly I didn’t know what Club Style is. When I saw the Puch, I thought this looks like a Harley Sportster one of my best friends just got. Then I saw the owner, Michel from Denmark, referred to it as his Club Style build. Without knowing the name of this style, it grabbed my attention anyway.
So what is a Club Style bike? In my simple understanding, it’s a stock-looking motorcycle that has had a few accessories changed. On most of them, the defining features are the handlebars, exhaust, wheels, and some sort of headlight fairing. The handlebars are usually tall, but not drastically like ape hangers. They will typically have a headlight fairing, some large and some small. Most of the club style have mag wheels too.
The key features on this Moped that make it complete the Club Style look are his 5-star mag wheels. He’s converted the wheels to disk brakes, both front and back. He added a Magnum LTD headlight fairing, paired with tall handlebars. A slammed long seat adds to the look.
